View our one night staycation in this self-catering Honeymoon Suite in Noordhoek Valley’s Capri Village. African Violet Guest Suites offers luxury apartments that overlook Noordhoek Beach and the Chapman’s Peak mountains. A perfect couple’s retreat.
The Honeymoon Suite
With its exclusive entrance, parking and private terrace, this self catering Honeymoon Suite (also known as the ‘Terrace Suite‘) is all about seclusion and comfort. We didn’t see or hear another guest during our entire stay!
The allure of our own shimmering blue infinity pool was as magnetic as it was breathtaking. We poured ourselves a drink, assembled a snack board and found our way to the sun lounges. Here, under the emerald palms, is where we were instantly transported back to our times spent on tropical islands.
We’re all about good views and felt spoilt for choice when it came to sunset hour. The pool, bed and bath all face the Atlantic Ocean.
We had the most incredible bubble bath date! Their jacuzzi tub is not only therapeutic and restorative but it also offers a golden glow during sunset hour. We may be quite far along in third trimester but our bath dates will never not be a thing!
Shared spaces
There is a beautiful communal swimming pool and cabana area downstairs. We didn’t quite make it down there as we felt we had everything we needed already. We had a busy week and found such solace in the private comforts of our suite.
On the property is one of the most renowned skin clinics/beauty spas in the Southern Peninsula, called House of Wellness. We have both been more than once and can highly recommend booking. The therapist is a true expert!
Southern wonders
African Violet is a great nesting point from which to explore Cape Town’s Southern wonders. It’s 10 minutes away from Noordhoek beach and Chapman’s Peak Scenic Drive. It’s also a short drive away from Cape Point, Boulder’s Beach Penguin Colony and Kalk Bay (3 of our favourite spots)!

The hosts, Jenny and Rob, who live on the property are exceptional at what they do. We always use TripAdvisor to get a “general idea” of a place before booking and their reviews were so impressive! We can now see why!
