Welcome to the the Flamingo Seapoint
A fabulous Airbnb apartment with so much character, space and fun facilities – that you just can’t experience it without your friends.
We’ve stayed here twice now – once with a group of influencers (organised by the one and only @jaredincpt), and again this year with some of our besties.
We decided to write a post on this Airbnb because we know people often travel down to Cape Town as a family or as group of friends – especially for big events, destination weddings and much needed beach time – and this spot is ideal for keeping central to all the main attractions in the Mother City.
The apartment has 4 bedrooms with 4 en-suite bathrooms – hosting 4 couples or 9 friends with ease. Rudi and I arrived first and quickly made ourselves at home in the lounge. We may have sneaked in a few Netflix & Chill sessions before the festivities began (they have WiFi and DSTV).
The kitchen area is so spacious, we even used it for a light and bright morning yoga session lead by the incredible Gemma Trehearn.
Friends Weekend at Flamingo Seapoint
We stayed at Flamingo for the first time with some incredible grammars, photographers and influencers with whom we had the privilege of connecting with: starting from the left: @avri_m_photography, @jaredincpt, @heyomphi & @richardhaubrich from @instagram_sa.
We started the evening downstairs at the Italian restaurant called @nonnalina_cpt, finishing off with dessert next door from the @thedairyden !
We also snuck in a Sea Point promenade sunset – typical grammers ;). The promenade (featuring all the best restaurants, activities and ocean views is just a 2 minute walk from the apartment).
But the best part of the weekend was the chats around Flamingo’s copper lit bar (with some of Jared’s best wine recommendations, of course).
Bridal Weekend at Flamingo Seapoint
This airbnb is really amazing for a wedding-inspired weekend away. With a good friend’s wedding soon approaching, we couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate the bride-to-be than with a bridesmaids staycation – sorry Rudi ;).
It was a “ladies night” of dreams!! The flamingo themed decor, the dreamy rose gold lighting and the wide open spaces made this house the perfect bachelorette destination.
With a dining area, bar, sauna, lounge area and 4 en-suite bedrooms, we had no desire to leave the house.
This apartment also provides a great opportunity for an impromptu photoshoot, our two 😉 !!
Needless to say – we would love to recommend this spot to anyone looking for a group stay in Cape Town. Their prices differ according to the season and their Instagram Page offers almost immediate responses to any queries your may have.
