Tofo Accommodation in Inhambane

1. Bamboozi Lodge

This lodge in located on Tofo beach in Inhambane, Mozambique.

Although it has quite an abandoned feel, it has the most beautiful setting. It is on Tofo beach but far away from the large crowds and the market which is a 10 minute walk down the beachfront.

We bought some lobsters and prawns from the local market and had a lekker braai with friends in the open Lapa area.

The Room

2013 December: We stayed in the sea facing chalet which had an ensuite, double bed, mosquito net, fridge and fan.

The electricity goes off at 10pm to 6am, so the night did get pretty hot! A few rum and raspberry drinks at the Tofo bars definitely help to sleep through the December heat!!

2. Nordin Lodge

We stayed in this small private room for one night.

It is located on Tofo beach right in the main area near the local market, nightlife and beach restaurants.

The room has a small veranda area which opens up onto the beach. There is also a small washing up area on the veranda and a table with two chairs. The rooms are quite close to one another so it is the perfect place if you are just looking to be central and have a bed to sleep on at night.
