1. Citin Pratunam

This budget hotel is located in Soi Chunladit, Thanonphayathai, Ratchathewi Bangkok.
It is a perfect spot for shopping addicts, and lets face it, you can’t go to Bangkok and not shop! It is a few minutes away from Palladium Mall ,Pantip Plaza, Platinum Mall, Fashion Mall, Central World, Gaysorn shopping centres and other street stores.

It is also a short walk from the airport link’s Ratchaprarop station which makes it ideal if you are traveling from/to Suvarnabhumi Airport (Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Koh Tao’s main airport).

The Room:

2013: We stayed in the Superior Studio room and paid 1500 Baht – it had a double bed, ensuite bathroom with hot shower, free wifi, safe and a fridge.

2. Regent Suvarnabhumi

This hotel is located at Soi Ladkrabang 22, Bangkok, Thailand.

It’s great for a quick stop-over. We had quite a late arrival at the airport and it took us only 8 minutes in a taxi from Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport to the hotel. They also offer a 24-hour reception check-in and airport transfer service. It’s ideal if you are arriving at the airport at crazy times and just want a quick hassle free stop over.

The Room:

December 2012: We stayed in the ‘Superior Double’ room and paid 1000 Baht per room/per night. It has a double bed, ensuite bathroom with hot shower, mini bar, air-conditioning, and free wifi. The room is very clean and comfortable!

3. Wild Orchid Bangkok

This budget guesthouse is located at 8 Soi Chana Songkhram Bangkok, near Khaosan road.

If you want to be near the party street of Khaosan road, this guesthouse location is perfect. It is a 5 min walk to Khaosan road and what makes it even better is the streets around the guesthouse that is packed with bars, restaurants and street food.

The Room:

December 2016: We stayed in the ‘Economy double’ room and paid 600 Baht per room/per night. It has a double bed, air-conditioning, free wifi, television and shared bathroom. The room is very clean and comfortable!
